The New York Energy Consumers Council (NYECC), in partnership with ASHRAE NY, assembled a diverse group of Prewar building owners, operators, and service providers to discuss the challenges these buildings face in their journey towards decarbonization. The event was hosted by Vornado at PENN 1 in New York City, and the facilitators of the discussions included Angelo Spargifiore (APF Properties), Brian Geller (Durst), Jordan Sasscer (New York University), David Chen (RKB Group), and Kevin Walsh (Adams & Co) and Steve Mosto (Mosto Technologies). During the panel discussion, the speakers provided their perspectives from their organizational experiences with planning for decarbonization within their portfolios.
